Apple will launch an online store for the Vietnamese market on May 18. Here, the store will provide Apple product lines, provide customer service and support sharing professional knowledge in Vietnamese directly to Vietnamese customers from the company's team of experts when necessary.

“We are honored to expand our presence in Vietnam and excited to bring Apple’s caring and knowledgeable support to our customers with the launch of the Apple Store online,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail. “With the online store, customers in Vietnam can explore our wide range of products and services, and connect with experienced experts.”

Apple's move to open an online store in the Vietnamese market could very well be a stepping stone to a physical store in the future. Because before that, India was Apple's 38th market to have an online store and the first online Apple Store in the South Asian country since September 23, 2020. After nearly three years, on April 18 and April 20, Apple consecutively opened the first two Apple Stores in this country, emphasizing the importance of the market to the company.

Over the past two years, Apple has increasingly shown its interest in the Vietnamese market. This can be seen most clearly in inviting Vietnamese media to attend the company’s product launch events in the US, or in collaborating with agents to open a series of Mono Stores.
