The iOS 18 update was released at 0:00 AM on September 17th (Vietnam time), compatible with iPhone SE 2, iPhone SE 3, and iPhone XR and later models. The four iPhone 16 series models will come pre-installed with the software when they reach customers.
And recently, the first updates for the iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 operating systems have been released.

According to Apple's release notes, the iOS 18.0.1 update addresses issues related to the touchscreen, camera, and Messages app.
Specifically, this update provides important bug fixes and security updates for your iPhone, including:
- The touchscreen may temporarily become unresponsive in certain situations on the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro.
- The camera may freeze when recording macro video on the ultra-wide-angle lens at 4K resolution with HDR turned off on iPhone 16 Pro models.
- Messages may unexpectedly crash when replying to messages using a shared Apple Watch watch face.
According to Macrumors, since the release of iOS 18, many users have complained about the aforementioned issue. Additionally, the iPadOS 18 update is not available for iPad Pro M4 models because it causes some devices to malfunction.
Therefore, Apple has released a new update to fix serious bugs. Users can update to the new software over the air on eligible iPhones and iPads by going to Settings - General - Software Update.
