Viet Phuong Ao Dai shines in Beijing

The collection "Vietnamese traditional Ao Dai" and the collection "Lotus" by Designer Han Phuong were performed at the Program.

The program was organized by the Vietnamese Business Community in China, with the participation of the wife of the Vietnamese Ambassador to China, the wife of the Vietnamese Consul General in Guangzhou and the Vietnamese community in China.

The program aims to contribute to honoring the value of Vietnamese Ao Dai; at the same time, arouse the love, pride and responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting the heritage of Vietnamese Ao Dai. Through Ao Dai, the event aims to promote the image, culture, country and people of Vietnam, so that Ao Dai culture can increasingly spread in the spiritual life of Vietnamese people and international friends.

The combination of Vietnamese Ao Dai in the space of a famous Chinese wonder has contributed to spreading the message of borderless cultural exchange, creating a connection of heritage through Vietnamese Ao Dai.

At the event, Designer Han Phuong from Thai Nguyen and two other designers showed the audience their unique Ao Dai collections. The Ao Dai collections were performed by more than 80 contestants from the “Ao Dai through photos” contest. The contest was held earlier, in the Vietnamese community in China, the contestants were students and overseas Vietnamese.

The collection “Vietnamese traditional Ao Dai” and the collection “Lotus” of the brand “Ao Dai Viet Phuong” designed by Designer Han Phuong, performed at the program, carry the deep meaning and cultural imprint of the ethnic groups, representing 54 ethnic groups.

The graceful ao dai, delicately designed with motifs of dragons, phoenixes, lotuses, bronze drums..., cleverly honors the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women, while also expressing the cultural exchange of East Asia.

With the “Sen” collection, the ao dai is made from Vietnamese silk, chiffon and silkworm silk – soft, light but proud materials; each design is like a lotus blooming in life – gentle, graceful but full of courage.

The event demonstrates the solidarity of Vietnamese businesses and overseas Vietnamese in China; at the same time, it connects and strengthens the friendship between the people of the two countries in the Vietnam - China Cultural Exchange Year 2025. Thereby, promoting the value and beauty of the Vietnamese Ao Dai - a national intangible cultural heritage.
