NDO - The Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, is one of the biggest Hindu festivals that celebrates the victory of good over evil, and is also celebrated to mark the beginning of spring.
One of the biggest festivals in India, Holi is also celebrated by Hindus all over the world with its vibrant colours of coloured powder, balloons, flowers, water and traditional customs.
Holi festival takes place in the Hindu month of Phalgun, which falls around February and March every year.
This year's Holi festival falls on March 25, and sees people adorning each other with bright colours, lighting bonfires, singing, dancing, exchanging good wishes and feasting on traditional delicacies.
