The 3rd Khmer Traditional Costume Showcase of Tra Vinh Province in 2023 will take place from November 23 to 26 at the Ba Om Pond Cultural and Tourism Area. The event is part of the Southern Culture, Tourism and Cuisine Festival Week in conjunction with the Ok Om Bok Festival organized by Tra Vinh Province.

Mr. Thach Boi, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh province, said that the contest aims to restore, preserve and promote traditional cultural values, contributing to building a culture imbued with national identity, creating conditions to promote and demonstrate the beauty of the people and traditional costumes of the Khmer people.

The contest attracted 10 units with more than 120 actors in Tra Vinh to participate. The image of the actors wearing colorful costumes walking around the ancient Ba Om pond left a deep impression on visitors.
