Impressive top 10 outstanding digital technology enterprises in Vietnam in 2024

DNVN - Recently in Hanoi, the ceremony to announce and honor the top 10 outstanding digital technology enterprises in Vietnam in 2024 took place. This is a program organized by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) to introduce and connect the selected enterprises to be honored with domestic and international partners.

Businesses honored at the program

Contributing to the success of the ceremony was the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications , technology experts and more than 400 delegates who were leaders, officers and employees of the honored digital technology enterprises.

The program was launched on May 13, 2024 and received positive response from the business community. The evaluation council unanimously selected 81 nominations from 56 deserving businesses in 22 fields, including 11 nominations for trillion-dollar digital technology businesses.

Statistics show that the revenue of the top 10 this year reached 115,469 billion VND, equivalent to more than 4.7 billion USD. The 11 trillion-dollar digital technology enterprises alone had a revenue of 82,251 billion VND, equivalent to 3.3 billion USD.

According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Lich, Director of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Industry, Ministry of Information and Communications, the enterprises honored this year are the stars leading the digital transformation trend, pioneering in making Vietnam become the leading technology country in the region and the world .

Glory always goes hand in hand with responsibility, Vietnamese digital technology enterprises continue to shoulder the great responsibility of developing the national digital economy strongly. According to a representative of VINASA: "The growth formula of many digital technology enterprises in recent times is to invest heavily in applying AI tools such as OCR, Chatbot, Test automation... with the goal of increasing labor productivity, increasing product packaging speed, thereby optimizing resources to create growth in both revenue and profit".

In fact, digital technology enterprises not only take responsibility for the national digital transformation , but are also the pioneers in the “Go global” strategy and the “Make in Vietnam” initiative. In particular, in the future, digital technology enterprises will continue to play an important role in developing new driving forces for the Vietnamese economy, such as the semiconductor industry and green-smart transformation.

Sharing the expectations of the Ministry of Information and Communications with the newly honored enterprises, Director of the ICT Industry Department Nguyen Khac Lich believes that the owners of the title of Top 10 outstanding digital technology enterprises are like "leading birds" reaching high, flying far, leading the Vietnamese digital technology business community to successfully fulfill their pioneering role, together with the entire Party and people to successfully carry out the digital transformation revolution in the new era.

After the award ceremony, VINASA will continue to introduce the list and publications of the top 10 outstanding digital technology enterprises in Vietnam in 2024 to government agencies, ministries, departments, branches, provinces, cities and over 5,000 agencies, organizations, businesses, associations... as well as at trade promotion programs with the participation of 100 countries and economies around the world in VINASA's international cooperation network.
