Digitizing convenience

Digital transformation has brought about clear positive changes in people's daily lives. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (a trader at My Quy market, Long Xuyen city) shared: “Previously, paying for purchases was quite inconvenient, having to carry cash, and getting change was cumbersome. Since the electronic payment application was introduced, my customers and I have been able to transact much more quickly and conveniently. Ms. Le Thi Mai (housewife, residing in My Phuoc ward, Long Xuyen city) excitedly said: “Since the online learning applications, my children can access a rich source of documents and study anytime, anywhere. I can also easily search for information about health, cooking and other useful tips on the Internet”. These changes are gradually improving the quality of life and contributing to building a more modern and intelligent society.

For An Giang, the application of science and technology in smart agricultural production, the development of products with high added value, along with digital transformation in tourism management and promotion will create breakthroughs. Innovation helps An Giang effectively exploit resources, create new products and services, and meet the increasing demands of the market.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, comrade Le Hong Quang requested all levels and sectors to focus on effectively implementing the Central's mechanisms and policies on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, urgently review, amend, supplement and perfect the mechanisms and policies of the province to ensure legal regulations and the actual situation of the locality. At the same time, attract, manage and effectively use all investment resources for science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. Focus on investing, innovating and improving the quality of education and training; ensure high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. “Promote digital transformation, apply science and technology, and innovate in the province's key areas. The implementation process must comply with the Central Government's policies, principles, and regulations, and ensure the smooth direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; resolutely prevent and combat corruption, waste, negativity, and group interests,” emphasized An Giang Provincial Party Secretary Le Hong Quang, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee.
