CNA. Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society plans to continue its crackdown on online scammers, especially phone scam groups, with a three-pronged plan : a war room, artificial intelligence (AI) and a "cyber vaccine."

KCNA. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sent a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping, expressing hope for promoting cooperative relations with China.
SCMP. During a meeting with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck Soo, Chinese President Xi Jinping said Beijing and Seoul should "compromise for the greater good" and improve supply chain integration.

YONHAP. The presidential office will help arrange a visit through diplomatic channels, as Xi Jinping “mentioned the need to visit South Korea multiple times,” according to South Korean National Security Adviser Cho Tae-yong.
KYODO. Japan will introduce a new communications system next year that will allow public agencies to share live images and other information such as location in the event of a disaster.
HINDUSTAN TIMES. Boeing is considering an order for six additional P-8I maritime surveillance aircraft - the military version of the Boeing 737-800 commercial aircraft - for the Indian Navy.
DAWN. Pakistan's Ministry of Health has decided to recall an injection that caused eye infections and loss of vision in diabetic patients in Punjab province.
TASNIM. Iranian authorities have defused 30 bombs that were planned for a series of bombings in the capital Tehran and arrested 28 people linked to the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS).
PRESS TV. Jordan welcomes strengthening ties with Iran to address regional challenges facing both countries, Jordanian Foreign Minister and expatriate Ayman Al-Safadi said during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in New York, US.

TASS. To solve the problem of Ukrainian grain being refused to import by some European countries, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the European Commission (EC) should buy it back and transfer it to African countries in need.
DW. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called on the Polish government to clarify allegations related to the visa fraud scandal that has rocked Polish politics.
UKRINFORM. UK Defence Secretary Grant Shapps said the UK will remain an ally of Ukraine and stand with its people.

AP. The Estado Mayor Central (EMC) armed group of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) announced an immediate end to all offensive actions after two car bombs killed two people.
BLOOMBERG. Cisco - a corporation that provides computer network hardware and software, bought the network security company Splunk for 28 billion USD, Cisco's largest deal ever.
XINHUA. Brazil is set to overtake the United States as the world's largest cotton exporter as Texas, the main cotton-producing state in the United States, is suffering from drought and heat waves that are affecting cotton production and quality.

ARAB NEWS. Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan began the second round of tripartite talks in Addis Ababa, aimed at resolving the issue of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) being built on the Nile River.
REUTERS. The European Commission (EC) will disburse 127 million euros ($135 million) in aid to Tunisia as part of a deal with the country to stem illegal migration from Africa to Europe.
AL ARABIYA. Armed men have kidnapped more than 30 people , including at least 24 schoolgirls, in an attack near and inside a university in Zamfara state, northwestern Nigeria.
NEWS24. A massive fire at the Cemetery View settlement in Pretoria, Gauteng province, South Africa, has left three people dead and thousands homeless.
AFRICA NEWS. At least 35 people have died in a fire at a warehouse storing smuggled fuel in southeastern Benin, a region bordering Nigeria.

THE AUSTRALIAN. Australian scientists have discovered the fossil of a large spider , dating back 11 million to 16 million years, named Megamonodontium Mccluskyi.
