AMD, the chip manufacturer, has just been attacked by the IntelBroker hacker group, which stole a lot of important data.
In a recent statement, IntelBroker shared a series of screenshots of internal AMD information. According to the hacker group, they attacked AMD's database in June.

The list of stolen AMD data reportedly includes ROMs, firmware, asset files, source code, employee and customer databases, financial information, future product plans, and technical specifications. Leaked employee information includes user IDs, email addresses, job functions, employment status, full names, and business phone numbers.
The IntelBroker hacking group gained notoriety after infiltrating DC Health Link, which manages healthcare plans for members of the U.S. House of Representatives, their staff, and their families.
More recently, IntelBroker has also been accused of being behind the breach of the Europol Platform for Experts (EPE), a web portal used to share information between international law enforcement agencies.
An AMD representative responded to the incident, stating: "We have received information about a cybercrime organization claiming to have stolen data from AMD. We are working closely with authorities and partners to investigate."
This isn't the first time that chip manufacturer AMD has been targeted by cyberattacks. In 2022, the RansomHouse group also claimed to have stolen 450 GB of AMD's data. Other well-known technology companies such as NVIDIA and Rockstar Games have also been victims of similar attacks.
