Chip manufacturer AMD was recently attacked by hacker group IntelBroker and many important data were stolen.
In a recent statement, IntelBroker shared a series of screenshots of AMD's internal information. Accordingly, this hacker group revealed that it had attacked AMD's database in June.

The list of stolen AMD data reportedly includes ROMs, firmware, asset files, source code, employee and customer databases, financial information, future product plans, and technical specifications. Exposed employee information includes user IDs, email addresses, job functions, employment status, full names, and business phone numbers.
The IntelBroker hacker group gained notoriety after breaking into DC Health Link, which manages health care plans for members of the US House of Representatives, their staff and their families.
More recently, IntelBroker was also accused of being behind the breach of the Europol Platform for Experts (EPE), a web portal used to share information between international law enforcement agencies.
AMD representative responded to this incident: "We received information about a cybercriminal organization claiming to have stolen data from AMD. We are working closely with authorities and partners to investigate."
This isn’t the first time chipmaker AMD has been the victim of a cyberattack. In 2022, the RansomHouse group claimed to have stolen 450GB of data from AMD. Other big-name tech companies like NVIDIA and Rockstar Games have also been victims of similar attacks.
