Warm meeting of provincial propaganda officers during the resistance period

DTO - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 22, in Cao Lanh City, the Liaison Committee of Propaganda Cadres of Kien Phong - Sa Dec Province (abbreviated as the Liaison Committee) held a meeting of propaganda cadres of Kien Phong - Sa Dec Province (now Dong Thap Province) during the resistance war period.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Dac Hien - Former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; comrade Nguyen Van Dinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and more than 50 comrades who were provincial propaganda officers during the resistance war period.

In the warm atmosphere of the meeting, delegates were informed by the Liaison Committee about the activities in 2024. Accordingly, the Liaison Committee actively mobilized funds to organize charitable activities such as: visiting the sick, wishing longevity, and paying respects to provincial propaganda officers during the resistance period.

Currently, the Liaison Committee continues to mobilize funds, coordinate with the government and local socio-political organizations to visit and provide material and spiritual support to comrades in difficult circumstances and those who are sick, in order to encourage and help provincial propaganda officers during the resistance period to reduce difficulties in life and feel warmer in their old age.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Hien - Former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department shared at the meeting.

In addition, delegates and provincial propaganda officers during the resistance war observed a minute of silence to commemorate the propaganda officers who sacrificed their lives during the resistance war; talked together, asked about their health, and shared memories during their work. Along with that, it was proposed that the Liaison Committee continue to connect and maintain regular contact with propaganda officers; maintain the organization of annual meetings to create opportunities for propaganda officers during the resistance war to meet, chat, and recall memories.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, comrade Nguyen Van Dinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department respectfully thanked and expressed gratitude for the contributions of propaganda officers during the resistance war, contributing to building the current propaganda and mass mobilization sector so that today's young generation can continue to inherit and develop.

Comrade Nguyen Van Dinh wished the propaganda cadres during the resistance war good health and peace in life. At the same time, he hoped that the propaganda cadres during the resistance war would always be shining examples, teaching the younger generations to inherit and promote the revolutionary tradition, contributing to building the homeland of Dong Thap increasingly prosperous and beautiful.
