During language arts, math, physics and chemistry classes, students at David Game College will not need to bring textbooks, and there will be no teachers in the classroom.
Students will use laptops and headphones to receive lectures and interact with the "AI teacher". The teacher present in the class will only perform the task of maintaining classroom discipline.

According to the board of directors of David Game College, AI cannot yet replace art and sex education teachers. For these subjects, “real” teachers will still be in the classroom.
Before the information given by David Game College, the education sector in the UK was very interested and had many mixed comments.
Fear of students becoming apathetic
Chris McGovern, president of the nonprofit Campaign for Real Education, does not support this approach.
"We can never replace a good teacher who inspires students to learn with artificial intelligence (AI). No matter how modern technology is, it cannot compare to a teacher who can sense the classroom situation and the state of students to have effective interactions," said Mr. McGovern.
Mr. McGovern also emphasized the importance of bonding between teachers and students, and between students in a classroom. Bonding between individuals in a group will not be possible if each student only knows how to "bury their heads" in the screen and learn in their own way. Educational activities will then become indifferent.
According to Mr. McGovern, the use of AI in teaching activities may also show a lack of confidence in the school and teachers in their professional activities. He believes that if schools let machines and AI take over the work of teachers, a bleak future will appear. At that time, the joy of going to school and the mental health of students will be greatly affected.
Advantages of AI in Teaching
In the face of controversy, the principal of the private school David Game College - Mr. John Dalton - confidently affirmed that bringing AI into teaching will be a leap forward in the field of education.
David Game College will not cut staff, but on the contrary, the role of teachers will become more practical, they will focus on doing things that machines cannot replace.

"Many educational institutions have used AI in the classroom to support teachers. We are going even further. We will use AI to teach the entire curriculum of some subjects.
This way, each student will have a personal teacher who can see their strengths and weaknesses in each subject. They will learn more effectively. With the traditional classroom model, when the whole class has only one teacher, each student will not receive close attention," Mr. Dalton analyzed.
Initially, David Game College will select 20 students to participate in the pilot program. Among these students, some have special physical or mental conditions that require more attention and support.
The AI-powered curriculum will answer questions posed by students in a human-like voice through a headset.
AI also continuously tests students after presenting new knowledge to see if they have mastered it. AI will collect data on each student's learning to analyze strengths and weaknesses. "Human teachers" will use this information to prepare individualized, supplementary lessons for each student, helping them improve their learning.
Principal John Dalton asserted that the data collected by AI is very detailed and can greatly help teachers in creating individualized curriculums for each student.
David Game College, a private secondary school, costs £27,000 a year (equivalent to more than VND870 million). Currently, some parents have registered their children for classes taught by AI.
Mr. Rudolf Eliott Lockhart - Chairman of the British Independent Schools Association (ISA) - commented: "Using AI in teaching can create strong changes in the education industry. David Game College is very bold in testing. We look forward to seeing the results of this project through the actual achievements of students".
