In 2024, although business activities faced many difficulties and challenges in the general context of the economy, the Agribank system made efforts to overcome difficulties, comprehensively completing the assigned business plan, achieving the highest results after 4 years of implementing the Agribank restructuring plan associated with bad debt settlement in the period of 2021-2025.

According to Agribank's report, by the end of 2024, Agribank's total assets reached over VND 2.2 million billion (up nearly 10%); capital reached over VND 2 million billion (up 7.6%); outstanding loans reached over VND 1.72 million billion (up 11%); bad debt ratio was controlled at a low level; pre-tax profit increased by over 8%. The bank has made efforts to ensure the lives and incomes of employees, fulfilling its obligations to pay the State budget (in the 2021-2024 period, the State budget payment reached over VND 45 trillion, of which in 2024 alone it is expected to pay over VND 15 trillion), while Agribank's brand reputation continues to be enhanced.

The ranking of the 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam recognizes large-scale enterprises that maintain effective and stable production and business activities, have prestige, and are ranked based on the results of independent research and evaluation by Vietnam Report and VietNamNet Newspaper, combined with analysis on criteria of actual revenue of the enterprise, total assets, total labor, profit after tax and other indicators such as: profitability index ROA, ROE, media reputation of the enterprise...

Every year, Agribank spends hundreds of billions of VND on hunger eradication, poverty reduction, building schools, medical stations, charity houses, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, preventing epidemics, and protecting the environment.
