Accordingly, Agribank will adjust the lending interest rates currently applied by each sector, customer group, loan type, etc. to a maximum reduction to the current lending interest rate floor and will not apply overdue penalty interest, late payment interest, and fees (if any) to customers for a maximum period of 12 months from November 1, 2023.
Thus, in the last 2 months of 2023, Agribank, the lending place, will adjust the interest rate applied to the existing outstanding debt of customers with restructured debt, group 2 debt, and bad debt on the balance sheet to a maximum of Agribank's current lending interest rate floor, in which there will be customers who can have their interest rates adjusted down from 3% to 4%. It is estimated that in this interest rate reduction, Agribank will spend a maximum of more than 4,000 billion VND to support customers.
This is the 7th consecutive time since the beginning of 2023 that Agribank has adjusted lending interest rates down, directly supporting customers, helping to reduce costs to focus on restructuring and restoring business operations. Agribank has also simultaneously implemented many support solutions and low-interest credit programs to facilitate customers' access to preferential capital sources such as: Implementing Circular 02, Decree No. 31, Resolution 33, preferential credit programs for individual and corporate customers, etc., contributing to realizing the economic and social recovery and development program of the National Assembly, the Government and the State Bank.
