Growing up from the PVF training center, Le Ngoc Bao had a lot of time to experience football environments in the National Championship. Ngoc Bao used to play for Quang Ninh and Can Tho to have the opportunity to learn and practice to become more mature.
In 2019, Le Ngoc Bao returned to Pho Hien (the predecessor of PVF-CAND) and played impressively in the First Division. His impressive performance in Pho Hien's shirt helped Ngoc Bao be called up by coach Park Hang Seo to the U23 Vietnam team to attend the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines. Ngoc Bao played an important role in the U23 Vietnam team's SEA Games gold medal victory.
Ngoc Bao then joined Quy Nhon Binh Dinh and Nam Dinh. After playing successfully at these two clubs, Ngoc Bao decided to return to his "old home" PVF-CAND in the 2024/2025 season.
PVF-CAND was the runner-up in the 2023/2024 National First Division, then lost the play-off match with Ha Tinh to compete for promotion. This season, PVF-CAND aims to win a ticket to play in the V-League next season, so they have strengthened their squad quite strongly.
Ngoc Bao has been quite successful at the club level with a series of titles such as National Cup champion, National Super Cup 2016 (Quang Ninh); V-League 2023/2024 (Nam Dinh).
