Runner-up Dang Thanh Ngan shares that she is stressed because of "cyber violence"
"At that time, I was under a lot of pressure and sometimes depressed. My family was also very worried and always encouraged me not to look at social media and to confidently compete with my best efforts," the runner-up shared. She also said she was surprised by the public opinion.
"This is not the first time I have participated in a beauty contest. But when I was invited to Miss Supranational, with the names that everyone expected to compete, I was mentally prepared to receive many mixed opinions, but I didn't think it would be this much, I really didn't think it would be this much" - Dang Thanh Ngan confided.
The beauty shared that there were some comments that were really not true to her. When reading the first comments, the beauty was not sad, but when reading too many comments like that, spreading on social networks, and almost every article had those comments, Dang Thanh Ngan was "shocked".
The beauty hopes to develop an acting career in the future.
"I was affected quite a lot. I cried because there was too much pressure. I doubted myself whether I had made the right decision, and asked Phuc Nguyen, 'Now that I have announced it to the press, do you believe I can do it?'" - Miss Supranational 2023 runner-up confided.
However, the beauty said that up to now, after winning the 4th runner-up prize, there seems to be no more cyber violence. "After my efforts throughout the journey, perhaps people have understood more about me and what I can do, and from there, have more faith in me."
Sharing about her love life, Dang Thanh Ngan said she had a boyfriend but not at the moment.
"In 2018, I made my first love public, but after that, we both went our separate ways. At the moment, we have ended but we can still share many things in life with each other. I see that as my success in this relationship. Right now, I have many plans that I want to focus on, so I have not considered the future to choose a suitable lover model for me" - the beauty said.
Dang Thanh Ngan was born in 1999, from Soc Trang. She won the 2nd runner-up title of Miss Ocean 2017, Miss Elegant Student of Can Tho City 2017.
