After nearly 90 days of day and night construction, working in three shifts and four teams, the new shape of the Lang Nu resettlement area (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai) has gradually been completed.
The houses in Lang Nu resettlement area are built in the traditional stilt house architecture of the Tay people.
40 solid houses, a community center and a school have sprung up on a new land of nearly 10 hectares. Nu village has been revived after the terrible flash flood on the morning of September 10th took the lives of 60 people and currently 7 people are still missing.
Coming to Lang Nu in mid-December, the village roads are being poured with concrete, workers are decorating and cleaning each house, and the electricity, water and telecommunications systems are also completing the final stages.

"Over a week ago, my daughter and I visited the house and took the opportunity to plant some flowers and vegetables. Unfortunately, my husband is no longer here. If he were still alive, he would be very happy to see this house," Mrs. Bong said, her eyes filled with emotion.
According to Colonel Nguyen The Luc - Deputy Commander of Army Corps 12 (Truong Son Construction Corporation, Ministry of National Defense), the Lang Nu resettlement area project was started on September 21.
There are always about 270 workers and engineers working day and night at this construction site, with up to 350 people mobilized during peak periods. It is expected that the project will be officially inaugurated on December 21.
