The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a plan to organize the 6th Cham Ethnic Cultural Festival in Ninh Thuan province in 2024.
Accordingly, with the theme "Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Cham ethnic group in the period of national integration and development," 9 provinces and cities will participate in the Festival, including: Ninh Thuan, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Binh Thuan, An Giang, Tay Ninh, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Within the framework of the festival, there are activities: Performance, introduction of festival excerpts, traditional cultural rituals of the Cham ethnic group in front of the Cultural Exhibition Space of the provinces at the 16/4 Square area, Phan Rang - Thap Cham city.
Along with that are exhibition spaces to introduce and promote local traditional cultural products; display, process and introduce traditional cuisine; demonstrate and introduce traditional handicrafts such as brocade weaving, traditional pottery making, etc.
Each province and city participating in the Festival will participate in the Mass Arts Festival and perform Cham ethnic costumes with folk songs, dances, music, solos, and instrumental ensembles imbued with the cultural identity of the Cham ethnic group.
Within the framework of the festival, there is a seminar on tourism with the theme “Promoting the value of Cham cultural heritage in tourism development”. The provinces participating in the festival display, introduce and promote their tourism potential and strengths at booths introducing and promoting tourism of the localities.
In addition, there is also an exhibition "Cultural characteristics of the Cham people in the cultural community of Vietnamese ethnic groups", a photo exhibition about the cultural colors of the Cham people accompanying the development of the country, and an exhibition of fine art paintings about the Cham people's culture.

Cham people will also demonstrate and introduce the operations, materials, production processes of typical and quintessential traditional crafts, handicraft products (pottery, brocade weaving, musical instruments) and traditional cuisine.
As planned, the 6th Cham Cultural Festival will take place for 3 days, from September 27 to 29, in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan province.
