The number of athletes is 3 times higher than the first season of the Can Tho Heritage Marathon held in 2019.
"Can Tho Heritage International Marathon 2023" is an activity in a series of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Can Tho City under the central government (January 1, 2004 - January 1, 2024). At the same time, it is also an opportunity to promote the image of the country and people of Can Tho. Up to this point, the organization plan, professional work on the race track as well as security plans to ensure the safety of the race track have been completed," said Mr. Viet.

The 2023 Can Tho Heritage International Marathon has 4 competition distances: 5 km, 10 km, Half Marathon (21 km) and Full Marathon (42.195 km). The running routes are carefully considered with a clear direction to highlight the tourism potential of Can Tho City through the scenic spots the route passes through. The total prize value of the 2023 season is 220,760,000 VND, including cash and gifts. The overall first prize for the 42.195 km distance (applicable to both men and women) has a cash value of 15,000,000 VND.
