80 million USD to make freeze-dried instant coffee in Binh Dinh

On September 17, the Economic Zone Management Board and Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company awarded the Investment Registration Certificate for the Freeze-dried Instant Coffee Factory Project to Future Enterprises Pte. Ltd. (Singapore).

Future Enterprises Pte. Ltd is a subsidiary of Food Empire Holdings, established in 1992, specializing in the production of world- leading beverage products, instant coffee, confectionery, and convenience foods with markets spanning 60 countries.

This is a 100% foreign-owned project and the second largest project in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, after the 2-phase project of producing high-tech emulsion and thin film of Kurz Group, Federal Republic of Germany.

The freeze-dried instant coffee factory project of Future Enterprises Pte. Ltd. is located at Lot B21.01 of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (Canh Vinh Commune, Van Canh District), with an area of ​​7.11 hectares and an investment capital of more than VND 2,002 billion (equivalent to USD 80.74 million).

The project aims to produce and export freeze-dried instant coffee. The factory has a capacity of 5,400 tons of products/year, creating jobs for more than 200 workers, and an operating period of 46 years from the date of being granted the Investment Registration Certificate.

The project will be implemented from September 2024 and completed and put into production in early 2028.

Mr. Dang Vinh Son - Head of Binh Dinh Economic Zone Management Board - assessed: "The freeze-dried instant coffee factory" of Future Enterprises Pte. Ltd. Group, when put into operation, will not only provide the market with new industrial products but also be a growth driver for Binh Dinh's processing industry. The project also contributes to promoting the transformation of the growth model from breadth to depth of local industry, opening up a new wave of investment, creating many job opportunities, contributing to the common prosperity of the province".
