80 works entered the final round of the "For the cause of Vietnamese education" Journalism Award

On the afternoon of October 16, the Organizing Committee of the 7th National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnam'sEducation " held a meeting to summarize the Preliminary round.

According to Ms. Do Thi Thu Hang - Head of the Professional Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Chairwoman of the Preliminary Council, Head of the Print Newspaper Subcommittee, this year's entries are higher in both quantity and quality, which proves that the contest has attracted the attention of a large number of readers as well as units with a tradition of writing about education.

The National Press Award “For the cause of Vietnamese education” is held annually to honor authors with excellent press works on the cause of education; typical collectives and individuals with many contributions to the cause of education. Thereby emphasizing the value, enhancing the importance of the education sector to the cause of building and defending the country. At the same time, attracting the attention of all levels, sectors and society to the cause of Vietnamese education.

The 2024 National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" includes: 1 Special Prize receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training and a cash prize of 60 million VND.

The awards for each category include: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and a number of Encouragement Prizes. Outstanding character award in the winning work (2 characters). Each award will include: National Press Award logo "For the cause of Vietnamese Education"; certificate from the Ministry of Education and Training; cash prize. The summary and award ceremony is scheduled to be held on November 16, 2024.
