76 young soldiers participate in "Semester in the Army"

BTO-On the morning of June 19, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinated with the Military Command and the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan province to organize the "Semester in the Army" program in 2023 with the theme "Summer in the army - To help us grow up".

This year's "Semester in the Army" program has the participation of 76 young soldiers aged 10-16, divided into 5 platoons.

*Delegates and students offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan Branch.*

Accordingly, the program will be held from June 18 to 23 with activities to experience military training at the 812 Infantry Regiment of Binh Thuan province; a journey to visit the Salon Base Relic Site and interesting experiences and sightseeing activities in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province. The program will bring children to the life of real soldiers and experience the disciplined environment of the Army, helping them train both physically and mentally; understand, share and love the image of soldiers, the spirit of readiness to perform tasks.

Through the above activities, students will acquire soft skills from activities such as: Teamwork, problem-solving skills, strengthening willpower and independence in life, taking responsibility for what they have done, knowing how to love, appreciate, share; being grateful to themselves, their families and those around them... At the same time, they will learn valuable lessons about discipline, self-awareness of the military environment, living to share with everyone and the desire to rise up in life of young people...
