74% of processing and manufacturing enterprises forecast better production and business

In the first quarter of 2025, 66% of processing and manufacturing enterprises assessed that their operations would be better and remain stable compared to 2024.

According to information from the Ha Tinh Statistical Office, in the first quarter of 2025, production and business activities of processing and manufacturing enterprises in the area had more positive changes compared to 2024. Accordingly, 66% of enterprises assessed that their operations were better and remained stable; 34% of enterprises assessed that production and business activities were more difficult.

Among the surveyed factors, the two biggest difficulties for enterprises in the processing and manufacturing industry in the first quarter of 2025 are low domestic market demand and high competitiveness of domestic goods.

The survey to assess the production and business activities of processing and manufacturing enterprises is conducted quarterly, reflecting the enterprises' assessment of: general overview of production and business activities, fluctuations in input factors (number of orders, labor usage, production costs, capacity of machinery and equipment); expected output results (production volume, average selling price of a product); inventory fluctuations (finished product inventory, raw material inventory)...

The survey results of the Ha Tinh Statistical Office also showed that 100% of processing and manufacturing enterprises forecast that in the second quarter, the trend of production and business activities will be better and more stable than in the first quarter of 2025. Of which, 74% of enterprises forecast better activities and 26% of enterprises forecast stable activities.

Along with that, 98% of businesses in this industry assessed that production output would increase or remain stable in the second quarter; 68% of businesses said that the trend of orders would increase; 96% of businesses assessed that costs and labor would increase or remain the same.

The "health" of processing and manufacturing enterprises has a great impact on socio -economic development, because this is the key sector of the industrial sector in particular and the economy in general.

The survey results show that the production situation in the processing and manufacturing industry is changing positively and more favorably. These are also positive signs for Ha Tinh's economy in the coming months, contributing significantly to the province's goal of achieving a growth rate of over 8%.
