7 candidates were suspended from the morning literature exam

A quick report from the Ministry of Education and Training said that a total of 1,050,622/1,054,601 candidates registered to take the literature exam, reaching a rate of 99.62%. This is also the only subject to be tested in essay format in the 2024 high school graduation exam.

Candidates have completed the first exam in this year's high school graduation exam.

Nationwide, 7 candidates were suspended from the exam for violating regulations (of which 3 candidates brought documents and 4 candidates used mobile phones).

The number of candidates violating exam regulations decreased compared to 2023 (in 2023, there were 12 candidates violating exam regulations in the literature exam).

The Ministry of Education and Training assessed that the literature exam took place safely, orderly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.

This afternoon, candidates will take the math test in the form of multiple choice questions. The test will start at 2:30 p.m. (test duration is 90 minutes).

This year's high school graduation exam has 1,071,393 candidates registered nationwide (an increase of more than 45,000 candidates compared to the 2023 exam).

Candidates will take the exam at 2,323 exam sites (an increase of 51 exam sites compared to 2023) with a total of 45,149 exam rooms. According to the Ministry of Education and Training, at the end of the exam registration procedure yesterday afternoon, 1,060,356 candidates nationwide came to complete exam registration procedures, reaching a rate of 98.96%.
