According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, as of October 15, 2024, the 5th Vietnam Medical Achievement Awards had a total of 68 registered products from 34 medical units in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho City and Dak Nong Province.
The City Department of Health assessed that the registered products were quite diverse, from artificial intelligence applications in developing specialized techniques, to applications that create convenience for people in need of health care.
Applications serving management work in medical facilities to digital transformation applications in industry management are also highly appreciated.
All are aimed at continuously improving service quality, care quality, and enhancing efficiency in hospital administration and industry management.
The 5th Vietnam Medical Achievement Award in 2024 is an event of special significance for the Ho Chi Minh City health sector. This is an outstanding activity of the health sector in response to the city's 2024 theme "Determination to effectively implement digital transformation and Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly".
At the same time, this is also a practical activity of hospitals to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).

Results announced on Vietnamese Doctors' Day
According to the plan, from October 15 to 31, 2024, the products participating in the voting will be evaluated by the preliminary round of the expert council.
From November 1, 2024, the products that pass the preliminary round will be sent by the organizing committee to the reporter team of Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio (VOH) to go on field trips, record and compile product introductions, and prepare to widely introduce them to listeners and people in January and February 2025.
The voting results will be announced on February 26, 2025, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day.
