6,482 candidates participate in the National High School Excellent Student Selection Exam for the 2024-2025 school year

The national high school excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year will take place from December 24-26, 2024.


This year's exam has a total of 6,482 candidates registered, an increase of 663 candidates compared to the 2023-2024 school year. There are 68 Examination Councils nationwide.

The 13 subjects of the National High School Selection Exam for the 2024-2025 school year include: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, and Japanese. For the first time, Japanese will be included in the exam.

This is the first year that the Ministry of Education and Training has applied the method of transporting exam papers through the Government Cipher Committee's system nationwide. The transport of exam papers has been smooth and quick.

The expected announcement date of the exam results is the end of January 2025.
