50 billion VND to build Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Area

On January 8, the People's Committee of Cao Phong district (Hoa Binh) held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Space Project associated with tourism services in Hop Phong commune. The project was approved under Resolution No. 455/NQ-HDND dated May 11, 2021 of the People's Council of Hoa Binh province, with an area of ​​36.02 hectares, a total investment of 50 billion VND from the provincial budget for the period 2021-2025. Secretary of Cao Phong district Party Committee Bui Thi Kim Tuyen emphasized that the project is part of the Project to Preserve and Promote the Cultural Values ​​of the Muong Ethnic Group and Hoa Binh Culture for the period 2023-2030. This is an extremely necessary and urgent project, aiming to continue to preserve and promote the values ​​of Mo Muong heritage; Preserving all the values ​​of the national cultural origin, the national spiritual cultural foundation, overcoming the risk of losing the value of the national intangible cultural heritage Mo Muong Hoa Binh. Thereby, contributing to enhancing resources for socio -economic development, making Mo Muong heritage a typical and unique tourism product associated with exploiting the potential and developing tourism in Cao Phong district in particular and Hoa Binh province in general. The formation of the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Space associated with tourism services in Hop Phong commune is one of the indispensable conditions for including Mo Muong heritage in the list submitted to the Government, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to record in the list of intangible cultural heritage representing humanity. The Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Area associated with tourism in Hop Phong commune has a construction investment scale including: the Buddha temple area; the entrance gate area and the square; Coi mountain peak area... The project will become an important step forward in preserving traditional culture and opening up opportunities for tourism development, promoting the unique image of Hoa Binh land./.
