50 years of Ho Chi Minh City culture and arts - Promoting tradition, continuing the future

Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Le Hong Son, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that after 50 years of completely liberating the South and unifying the country, along with the general development of the whole country, Ho Chi Minh City is now the economic , cultural, scientific and educational center of the whole country.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City is promoting the effective implementation of Conclusion No. 84-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW dated August 16, 2008 of the 10th Politburo on "Continuing to build and develop literature and art in the new period".

Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy presented the 50th anniversary badge of Southern liberation and national reunification to the attending delegates.

Director Nguyen Thanh Dat suggested that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, and directly the Department of Culture and Sports, should have solutions to encourage young people to develop their creativity and critical thinking in art. At the same time, create a mechanism to develop and promote young people's art products. Because, if properly oriented and with appropriate investment, young people in Ho Chi Minh City will not only be art lovers but also creators, contributing to the sustainable development of the arts and culture in the future.
