50 years of National Reunification: Welcoming military delegations to participate in parades and marches

On April 5, the first train carrying military officers and soldiers participating in parades and marches arrived at Bien Hoa station (Dong Nai), preparing to practice for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

At 10:30 a.m. on April 5, the train carrying the army led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, arrived at Bien Hoa station.

Since morning, thousands of officers, soldiers of the armed forces, youth union members and Dong Nai people have been present at Bien Hoa station to welcome the train carrying soldiers.

The first days of April in Dong Nai were hot and sunny, but preparations had been made carefully. Everyone was looking forward to the moment the train carrying the military officers and soldiers participating in the parade arrived at the station.

Soldier Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, Armored Corps, practicing in the Military Band, said that this was her first time coming to the South, she was very moved when she got off the train and received an enthusiastic welcome, warm feelings from the officers, soldiers and people of Dong Nai province. She herself was very proud to be in the ranks participating in the parade and marching and pledged to do her best to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

According to the Organizing Committee, the units have closely coordinated with the locality to ensure accommodation, logistics, healthcare, security and order during the training period and the parade.

After the reception, the military officers and soldiers moved to the barracks to settle down and begin training, joint exercises, and rehearsals in the center of Bien Hoa city. This is an important activity to prepare for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day .

According to the plan, on April 5-6, Bien Hoa station will receive 5 trains with a total of nearly 3,200 officers, soldiers and militia forces moving to the South to join forces with other units, continuing to train in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)./.
