50 students perform a special flag-raising ceremony on Chua Chan mountain

(DN)- On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on April 21, the Xuan Truong Primary School Union (Xuan Truong Commune, Xuan Loc District) organized a special flag-raising ceremony on Chua Chan Mountain (873 meters above sea level).

Xuan Truong Primary School is located at the foot of Chua Chan Mountain, a famous scenic spot of Xuan Loc District. The flag-raising ceremony was held solemnly with the participation of the school's Board of Directors and teachers.

The school's Board of Directors said this was the first time the school had taken students to Chua Chan Mountain to perform the flag-raising ceremony.

Principal of Xuan Truong Primary School Nguyen Huy Dong said that the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is a very special event, so the school had the idea of ​​bringing 50 students, symbolizing 50 years of liberation and national reunification, to the top of Chua Chan Mountain to perform the flag-raising ceremony.

The selected students all have excellent academic records, are diligent and exemplary in their studies and activities. The school wants to take advantage of this important national event to organize this special flag-raising ceremony to educate the students about patriotism.

Vu Tuan Anh, a 5th grade student at Xuan Truong Primary School, shared: "This is the first time I have been close to the top of Chua Chan Mountain, the mountain that I can see clearly every day in the schoolyard or in the classroom. When I got there, I felt very proud of my country."

After the flag-raising ceremony, teachers and students felt happy and even more proud of their country.
