50 brothers and sisters were elected to the 7th Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province, term 2024-2029.

On the afternoon of October 4, at Conference Center 25B, Thanh Hoa City, after the first working session, the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Thanh Hoa province, term 2024-2029, selected and elected the new Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province, consisting of 50 members.

Comrade Le Van Chau, Provincial Party Committee member, Provincial Youth Union Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province delivered the opening speech at the conference.

At the first working session, the Congress consulted to elect the Presidium and the Congress Secretariat; approved the program, rules and regulations of the Congress; and reported on the situation of delegates attending the Congress. Accordingly, the Congress was attended by 250 delegates representing the will, thoughts and aspirations of more than 1 million union members and youth in the province.

The Congress presented a summary report on the results of the Youth Union and the youth movement of Thanh Hoa province for the 2019-2024 term; directions and tasks for the 2024-2029 term; and a review report of the 6th Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province for the 2019-2024 term.

According to the report, in the 2019-2024 term, under the leadership of the Provincial Youth Union, all levels of the Youth Union in the province have made efforts to achieve many important results; the targets set at the beginning of the term of the congress were basically achieved and exceeded the plan, contributing to the overall development of the province. From specific tasks, Thanh Hoa youth continued to affirm their important role in social life, being a reliable and effective force of local Party committees and authorities.

In the 2024-2029 term, with the slogan "Thanh Hoa Youth - Solidarity - Pioneer - Aspiration - Dedication", the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province strives to complete 10 key targets, which are: 100% of cadres, members and 90% of young people study, thoroughly understand and propagate the resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union and the Association and the policies and laws of the State. Every year, 100% of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels organize activities to preserve and promote national cultural identity. Over 1 million members and young people participate in volunteer activities organized by the Youth Union at all levels; 350,000 young people have access to digital capacity building activities. During the term, 50,000 new members will be developed; 300 Youth Union organizations, teams, and groups will be established in enterprises...

To effectively implement the set targets, the Association's chapters at all levels have proposed 3 key solutions associated with 10 specific solutions, in which the focus is on the Association's chapters at all levels continuing to promote the effective implementation of emulation movements, especially responding to and participating in digital transformation activities, applying and applying digital technology in real life and improving digital capacity for youth and children. Implementing movements, programs and activities to inspire, encourage and motivate young people to improve their spirit of self-study and creativity; promoting and supporting youth's start-up, career establishment and economic development activities.

Mr. Le Van Chau, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province, term VI, 2019-2024, was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province, term VII, 2024-2029.

On behalf of the new term Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province and the delegation attending the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029, Mr. Le Van Chau, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province thanked the Congress for its trust, and at the same time accepted the opinions and proposals of union members and young people in the province, especially the issues discussed at the Congress.

Before the Congress, the delegation of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province offered flowers, incense, and reported achievements at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area.

Tomorrow morning (October 5), the Congress continues its second working session and closes the Congress.
