The contest aims to celebrate the 25th anniversary of My Son being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage (December 4, 1999 - December 4, 2024) and celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day November 23.
After 3 months of launching (from September 2024), the Organizing Committee received 9 works from 9 authors and groups of authors participating in the contest.
The My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board awarded the first prize to the video “The Gate to the Mysterious World of Champa” by the group of authors Tran Ngoc My Duyen and Vo Nguyen Hoai Oanh (Ngo Quyen Secondary School, Duy Tan Commune, Duy Xuyen District); the second prize went to the video “The Magic of Champa” by author Ho Quang Thanh of Vin Media. In addition, 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes were awarded.
The contest “My Son Tourism Review” is a playground to express the spirit of learning and creativity through video clips sharing about cuisine, culture, architecture, art, and tourism in My Son.
Through the contest, the authors are the ones who discover, feel and share their perspectives on My Son tourism images, thereby contributing to promoting and widely communicating My Son tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.
At the same time, it contributes to raising awareness, transmitting heritage values to the younger generation, raising awareness in the community to cherish, preserve and promote the heritage values of the homeland and country.
