  1. Unique cultural convergence space of Sa Pa

Sa Pa, with its four-season natural beauty and the cultural diversity of ethnic minorities, is a great tourist destination. However, the complex mountainous terrain and long distances between villages can make it difficult for visitors to fully explore the unique cultural features here. That is why Ban May at Sun World Fansipan Legend was born, connecting the cultural beauty of the Northwest in a concentrated space.

This is the only place in Sa Pa where you can experience the life of the highland ethnic groups (Sa Pa H'Mong, Dien Bien H'Mong, Xa Pho, Tay, Giay, Red Dao, Thai, Ha Nhi) in the same day, at the same location.

Here, the traditional colors of the ethnic groups are preserved in the most authentic way. The ancient houses of May village were painstakingly brought back from the villages in Sa Pa and restored by the local artisans. The living space is always warm with the fire, with the daily life and customs that have not changed for hundreds of years of the ethnic people. Visitors can explore the process of making brocade, weaving, making incense, printing patterns with beeswax, rattan and bamboo weaving... from the artisans of the highlands. Everything in May village is created so that visitors can have the most Sa Pa, the most Northwest feeling.

2. Immerse yourself in the Ban May Golden Season Festival

From August 17, ethnic people in May village will organize the festival “Golden season of May village” to celebrate the ripe rice season. Every weekend, visitors will experience a completely new traditional festival.

Here people pound rice cakes, make green rice flakes, and there people cook five-color sticky rice. Tourists and locals immerse themselves in the rhythm of highland art performances, or participate in Northwestern folk games such as stick pushing, one-rope bridge and swing in a bustling atmosphere. With the chilly weather of Sa Pa autumn, coming to Ban May festival, just sitting in the house of the Dao or Thai people enjoying a cup of hot tea, eating chestnut cakes or nibbling on some roasted corn and sweet potatoes is enough to see how simple highland life is, yet so joyful and relaxing.

3. Enjoy the "full feast" of the Northwest

A trip would not be complete without a dinner experience at Ban May. Ethnic specialties are best enjoyed in the space of bamboo hedges, stilt houses and stone walls typical of the village.
