2. Increase vitamin C
You should combine iron-rich foods with foods rich in vitamin C such as citrus fruits, strawberries and bell peppers, as vitamin C enhances iron absorption, thereby increasing hemoglobin levels.
3. Increase vitamin B12
Along with the above nutrients, make sure to provide your body with enough vitamin B12, especially folate as it is essential for hemoglobin synthesis.
