9 | Novel Fire in the Samu Forest | Late Writer Ha Trung Nghia Member of Hoa Binh Province Literature and Arts Association ( Representative : Dong Thi Huong | The late writer Ha Trung Nghia was born in (1947 - 2018), his hometown is Dong Lac, Yen Lap, Phu Tho, but he has devoted his life to the land, people and culture of Hoa Binh. He was a former member of the Vietnam Writers Association ; Military doctor ; Captain in charge of a military clinic in Ha Giang province ; Deputy Director of Hoa Binh Provincial General Hospital. 30 | Monument | Sculptor Nguyen Vu An | The statue of President Ho Chi Minh on the Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Plant was designed by Sculptor Nguyen Vu An - Former Lecturer at Hanoi University of Architecture. The monument has a total height of 18m. It is made of Granite concrete (This type of concrete is 2.5 times harder than normal stone, and the concrete contains some anti - weathering and anti - mold compounds ) . The statue of Uncle Ho is 13.5m high - the pedestal is 4.5m high. The statue 's body has 18 tons of stainless steel core . The statue has a lightning protection system that goes from the top of the statue's head down to the waist and then runs down to the Uncle Ho Statue and runs underground to spread throughout the entire stage ( to protect visitors on the stage from sudden lightning ) . The Uncle Ho Statue has a structure that can withstand an earthquake of 9.2 on the Richter scale . The President Ho Chi Minh Statue on the Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Project was inaugurated in 1997 on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam. In many locations in Hoa Binh city, you can see the Uncle Ho Statue, the project is the pride and architectural highlight, a work of art of Hoa Binh city in particular and Hoa Binh province in general. |
