At the Da Nang - Japan Meeting on July 5, representatives of Da Nang and Japanese leaders discussed, connected cooperation, attracted investment and promoted human resource cooperation between Da Nang and Japanese partners.
According to Mr. Mori Takero - Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang, currently, the Japanese community living in Vietnam has about 20,000 people and the number of Vietnamese people living in Japan is also increasing significantly.
2023 is the year marking the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, with more than 500 events taking place between the two countries, creating many new opportunities in many different fields.

In the coming time, Japan will make more efforts so that Vietnamese people can feel that Japan has an attractive working environment.
“With the aim of creating conditions for foreign workers, including Vietnamese, to live safely and securely in Japan, the Japanese Government has recently revised its policy on accepting foreign workers,” said Mr. Mori Takero.
The Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang also added that Japan will improve the level of human rights protection and enhance the rights of Vietnamese workers living and working in Japan.
Japan also hopes to continue listening to the opinions of the Vietnamese people, thereby promoting Japanese agencies to carry out necessary reforms.
