It is estimated that in the first 4 months of 2025, 8/16 revenue items and taxes have reached the estimated progress, including: revenue from state-owned enterprises; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises; revenue from non-state economic sectors; personal income tax; fees and charges; lottery revenue; other budget revenues; revenue from public land funds and other public property benefits.
The Regional Tax Department XVI said that the world economic market in 2025 will face many challenges and fluctuations. Along with the implementation of a number of mechanisms and policies of the Government on tax reduction and tax payment extension, it will affect the budget revenue in value added tax, corporate income tax and environmental protection tax. The estimated state budget revenue in the first 4 months of 2025 exceeded the estimated progress by 7.42%. The reason for the progress and increase compared to the same period is mainly due to the increase in revenue from foreign-invested enterprises and revenue from the non-state economic sector.
Accordingly, revenue from foreign-invested enterprises increased by 40.4% over the same period, mainly due to increased revenue from corporate income tax of a number of key enterprises with increased orders.
The Regional Tax Department XVI said that in order to effectively manage the State budget collection in May 2025, the Department will consolidate discipline and comply with the internal regulations of the Tax Department after reorganizing the apparatus to operate stably and effectively, without affecting the rights and obligations of taxpayers.
Maintain quarterly tax dialogues with businesses; effectively implement new policies to support and remove difficulties for people and businesses such as extending the deadline for payment of value-added tax, corporate income tax, personal income tax and land rent in 2025; extending the deadline for payment of special consumption tax on domestically produced or assembled cars.
At the same time, the Department actively coordinates with relevant departments, branches, and local inter-district tax teams to review revenue management, strengthen revenue bases, prevent budget losses, and manage tax debts; ensure correct, sufficient, and timely collection of taxes arising and outstanding debts to the State budget.
