On the morning of February 12, Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce decisions to resign before the deadline, including many officers who were Department Heads, District Police Chiefs and 9 deputies.

Major General Bui Quang Thanh, Director of Nghe An Provincial Police, thanked 13 leaders at the department and district levels who volunteered to retire before the age limit to create favorable conditions for the organization to carry out the work of arranging and assigning cadres when perfecting the organizational apparatus, as well as building a personnel plan for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

According to Major General Bui Quang Thanh, the 13 department-level and district-level police leaders who retired this time were all officers who were still working, received basic training, matured early from the grassroots, and were leaders and commanders who had experienced many different fields of work.

In addition, 4 Deputy Chiefs of District Police wish to continue working and volunteer to hold the position of commune police commander, including: Lieutenant Colonel Kha Van Hoi, Deputy Chief of Con Cuong District Police, came to work and hold the position of Chief of Tam Hop Commune Police, Tuong Duong District.

Lieutenant Colonel Va Ba Hua, Deputy Chief of Tuong Duong District Police, came to work and hold the position of Chief of Muong Tip Commune Police; Lieutenant Colonel Lo Van Thao, Deputy Chief of Ky Son District Police, came to work and hold the position of Chief of Nam Can Commune Police and Lieutenant Colonel Ho Ba Khu, Deputy Chief of Ky Son District Police, came to work and hold the position of Deputy Chief of Ta Ca Commune Police (Ky Son District).

Up to now, Nghe An Provincial Police has had 18 Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments; Heads and Deputy Heads of District Police resign before the age limit to create favorable conditions for organizing and arranging staff.
