35 K'Ho, Ma, M'Nong ethnic artisans participate in the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival

For 3 days from December 14 to 16, in Dong Ha city, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Quang Tri province to organize the Cultural Festival of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.

With the theme "Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of Vietnamese ethnic groups: equality, solidarity, respect, integration and development for a peaceful world", the festival aims to honor the good traditional cultural values, preserve and promote the cultural identity of Vietnamese ethnic minorities in the unified and diverse culture of the community of 54 ethnic groups.

Participating in the Festival are 16 groups of artisans from 16 provinces and cities: Bac Giang, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Vinh Phuc and Quang Tri.

The Lam Dong delegation alone has 35 artisans representing the Ma - Bao Lam and K'Ho ethnic groups of Lac Duong and Di Linh districts, and the M'Nong - Dam Rong ethnic groups, who have contributed their unique cultural beauty to make the Festival more diverse and colorful.

Artisans of local ethnic groups in Lam Dong participated in the activities of the Festival such as: Opening art program; Mass art festival; Traditional ethnic costume performance; Performance, introduction of festival excerpts, traditional cultural rituals of local ethnic groups; Exhibition, introduction and promotion of local traditional culture; Exhibition, processing and introduction of traditional ethnic cuisine; Sports activities and ethnic folk games; Photo exhibition "Ethnic minorities of Vietnam accompanying the development of the country"; Exhibition "Cultural colors of Vietnamese ethnic groups"; photo exhibition with the theme "Ethnic minorities of Vietnam accompanying the development of the country" ...

The festival is not only a cultural event but more importantly, it is also an opportunity for cultural subjects, artisans, actors, and mass athletes of the Ma, K'Ho, and M'Nong ethnic groups in Lam Dong to exchange experiences, introduce cultural beauty, and spread pride and sense of responsibility in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values ​​in the period of national integration and development. From there, cultural achievements built over many generations are continued, nurtured, and increasingly deepened and enriched.

The festival is also a testament to the spirit of great solidarity, indomitable will, and aspiration to rise of the ethnic groups, creating a premise and solid foundation for the ethnic people to turn cultural values ​​into endogenous strength, constantly striving further in the new era - the era of rising of the Vietnamese people.
