On September 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association held a press conference to inform about the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association, term 2023 - 2028, and to award prizes for the contest to create logos, propaganda songs and literary essays to welcome the Congress.

The Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term with the theme "Solidarity - Innovation - Civilization - Development" will be held on September 26 and 27 at the City Hall (No. 111, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), with the presence of 300 delegates representing political qualities, revolutionary ethics, representing the will, aspirations and feelings of more than 57,000 farmers' association members in the city.
The solemn session of the Congress (Session 3) was held on the morning of September 27, broadcast live on HTV9 channel, Ho Chi Minh City Television from 8:00 to 10:30.
During the congress, there will be activities: Displaying typical agricultural products, OCOP products, applications of modern science and technology, digital transformation activities; Photo exhibition of outstanding activities of the Association and the City's farmers' movement in the period of 2018 - 2023; Organizing spaces for performing amateur music to introduce the beauty of the cultural and spiritual life of the city's farmers; Organizing propaganda activities to welcome before, during and after the congress.
At the press conference, the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association also awarded prizes for the logo, propaganda song, and literary essay creation contest.

Among them, the symbolic work by author Nguyen Van Ngát won first prize and was chosen as the official logo of the Congress.
The first prize for song was awarded to the work "Song of Farmers in Uncle Ho's City" by author Nguyen Ba Hung.
Writer Nguyen Vu Quynh won the first prize in literary essay with the work "Returning to Can Gio with good farmers - watching salt workers make pure salt, and listening to amateur music with Homestay".
To welcome the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, an exhibition of 100 images of outstanding activities of the Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' movement took place from September 22 to September 30.
The Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association has launched and deployed to all levels of the Association and its officials and farmer members to register to carry out 120 works and activities to welcome the 11th Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association Congress, towards the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, term 2023 - 2028, in which the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association carried out 15 typical works and activities.
Including 5 welcome projects including: Implementing the scientific research topic "Current situation of agricultural production needs to develop agricultural economy of farmer members in Ho Chi Minh City"; "Building Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, theme "Uncle Ho with farmers""; "Caring for social security, awarding Luong Dinh Cua scholarships to children of farmer members in difficult circumstances"; "Awarding production tools, means of livelihood to farmer members in difficult circumstances"; "Building an exhibition area, introducing key agricultural products, potential, typical agricultural products, OCOP products".
