In the first quarter of this year, Khanh Hoa tourism industry welcomed more than 2.5 million tourists, contributing to affirming Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as an attractive destination.

On March 26, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province said that it is estimated that in the first quarter of 2025, the whole province will welcome more than 2.5 million overnight guests, an increase of nearly 20% over the same period in 2024.

Cruise tourists are excited to arrive in Khanh Hoa .

Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 1.3 million (up more than 12.5%); domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 1.2 million (up nearly 29% over the same period last year). Total revenue from tourists is estimated to reach more than 13,850 billion VND, up nearly 22% over the same period in 2024.

Also according to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, in 2025, the tourism industry aims to welcome 11.8 million visitors. Of which, 5.2 million are international visitors, 6.6 million are domestic visitors, with tourism revenue reaching 60,000 billion VND.

Provincial tourism has stepped up promotional activities to attract tourists from international markets: Korea, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc.

It is known that in March, the Russian tourist market showed signs of good recovery. Russian national airline Aeroflot launched a commercial flight route Moscow - Cam Ranh with a frequency of 3 flights/week.

The tourism business has coordinated with Azur Air (Russia) to operate charter flights from 11 Russian cities to Khanh Hoa with a frequency of 12 flights in March; from April to June, it will increase to 50-55 flights/month; from July onwards, it will increase to 90-100 flights/month.

The Kazakhstan tourist market is also expected to have good growth when Air Astana operates the Almaty - Cam Ranh route with a frequency of 4 flights/week and the Astana - Cam Ranh route with a frequency of 3 flights/week from the end of March, increasing the flight frequency from Kazakhstan to Khanh Hoa to 14 flights/week.
