The event aims to strengthen cooperation between the three leading universities in Vietnam, promoting the potential and strengths of each institution in training talents, scientific research, technology transfer, innovation, and digital transformation.
The goal of the cooperation is to build the 3 universities into centers of excellence in training talented human resources, attracting talents, and conducting scientific research to serve the development of strategic technology and innovation fields in Vietnam and the region, with close cooperation from businesses. At the same time, it will improve the efficiency of investment in facilities, exploitation and use of resources of the 3 universities.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son emphasized that Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation is very important for the system of highereducation institutions in Vietnam.
“Vietnam’s universities are not only scientific and technological organizations, but also places to train human resources for science and technology, for innovation, and for national digital transformation. Universities are also places to apply science and technology, especially digital technology and artificial intelligence in innovating school management and innovating teaching and learning methods,” said the Deputy Minister of Education and Training, affirming the great mission of universities in successfully implementing Resolution 57.

The strategic cooperation of the three universities focuses on the following contents: Cooperation in training high-quality, highly qualified human resources; Cooperation in researching core technologies, developing strategic technology products; Cooperation in building a shared database and resource system,...
Specifically, the three universities will coordinate to develop high-quality talent training programs, especially postgraduate training in key and cutting-edge fields, in the direction of jointly organizing training and researching to propose mechanisms so that graduates of this program can receive degrees from all three universities.
At the same time, implement the assessment and recognition of credits in training programs to enhance student exchange in the form of "on-site study abroad" (students of one of the three universities can study, accumulate credits, do internships/practices, participate in research groups, and conduct research at the facilities of the three universities and partner businesses).
Building strong interdisciplinary and cross-field research groups, prioritizing core technology research, developing strategic technology products such as: Artificial intelligence, semiconductor chips, cybersecurity, blockchain, IoT, 5G/6G, energy, robotics and automation, digital technology, new materials, biotechnology, quantum technology...
Invest in developing shared laboratories in an interdisciplinary and integrated manner to optimize resources, save costs, increase investment efficiency and move towards forming shared excellent research institutes/centers (human resources, facilities, equipment) jointly invested by 3 universities.
At the same time, build a digital university model to share artificial intelligence applications and deploy training programs, especially in the STEM field on a digital platform.
