(Dan Tri) - On November 6, the music group 2NE1 attracted the attention of the audience when choosing Ho Chi Minh City as a stop on their Asian tour.
Management company YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 will hold a concert in Ho Chi Minh City on February 15 and 16, 2025. This concert is part of the Asian tour called Welcome back, which the group started in Korea in October, currently scheduled to last until February 2025.
IME Vietnam - the concert organizer in Vietnam - confirmed this information and said that the seating chart and ticket prices will be announced in the near future.
On social networks, the news of 2NE1 returning to Vietnam to hold a concert attracted the attention of the audience.
Many fans predict that the "ticket hunting" battle at 2NE1's concert will be very competitive because this is a group that is loved by many Vietnamese fans. Some fans said that they have bought tickets for other Asian stages such as Thailand, Singapore... but will still buy tickets to see 2NE1 in Vietnam.
Previously in October, 2NE1 created a fever when they reunited after 8 years of inactivity.
In Korea, the 3-night Welcome back concert - an event celebrating the group's 15th debut anniversary - attracted more than 400,000 people lining up to buy tickets, selling out in a short time.
On October 15, when the concert tickets went on sale in the Philippines, there were over 200,000 people waiting in line at the same time. The total number of fans waiting to buy 2NE1 tickets in the Philippines during the four ticket sales was over 900,000 people.
2NE1's other stops in Asia such as Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia... also had about 300,000-400,000 fans competing to buy tickets each time they went on sale.
2NE1 was formed in 2009 under YG Entertainment, consisting of 4 members: CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park and Minzy.
The group is one of the Kpop icons thanks to their unique, bold fashion style and groundbreaking music. From their debut song Fire to hits like I don't care , Can't nobody , Go away , Lonely , I'm the best , Ugly , Missing you, Come back home... , 2NE1 not only dominated the domestic charts but also became famous internationally, leaving a strong mark in the Korean music industry.
After Park Bom was involved in a drug scandal in 2014, 2NE1 stopped working. In November 2016, YG Entertainment announced the group's disbandment. Since last July, the group has been active again, just in time for their 15th debut anniversary.
