250 athletes participate in the Taekwondo Championship of Da Nang City Clubs

The tournament was attended by 250 athletes from 25 Taekwondo clubs in the city. The athletes competed in two categories of form and combat for men and women in two age groups: group one (from 7 to 10 years old), group two (from 11 to 15 years old).

Athletes compete on August 18

In the content of the martial arts, group one athletes compete in men's individual, women's individual, men's team, women's team and mixed doubles; group two athletes compete in men's individual, women's individual, men's team and mixed doubles. In the content of the combat, group one athletes are divided into 7 weight categories from 14kg to 36kg, competing in men's and women's individual; group two athletes are divided into 14 weight categories from 33kg to 65kg, competing in men's and women's individual. At the end of the tournament, the organizing committee will reward the outstanding athletes in each competition and award the entire team.

The Da Nang City Taekwondo Club Championship is held annually to create conditions for athletes to exchange, compete, and develop their expertise; discover and select outstanding athletes for the city team to participate in the national championship.
