By January 3, the Council for considering the award of the title of People's Artisan and Meritorious Artisan in the field of intangible cultural heritage of Hai Duong province for the fourth time had received 24 applications from individuals proposed for the title. Of these, 4 applications were proposed for the title of People's Artisan and 20 applications were proposed for the title of Meritorious Artisan.
Four individuals were proposed for the title of People's Artist, including three people with the art of water puppetry: Pham Hung Ninh, Pham Khac Xoa (both from An Liet 2 village, Thanh Hai commune, Thanh Ha); Dinh Van Phai (from Bui Thuong village, Le Loi commune, Gia Loc) and Vu Thi Chuyen (from Chau Bo village, Hiep Hoa commune, Kinh Mon) with the heritage of practicing the worship of the Three Palaces of the Vietnamese people.
20 individuals were proposed to be awarded the title of Meritorious Artist. Of these, 9 people with the art of water puppetry include Mr. and Mrs. Pham Ngoc Bach, Pham Van Dong, Dinh Van Thoang (all from Le Loi commune, Gia Loc); Nguyen Van Cu, Dang Van Phu, Le Thi Tien (all from Hong Phong commune, Ninh Giang), Pham Khac Toai, Nguyen Van Uan, Nguyen Van Viet (all from Thanh Hai commune, Thanh Ha).
9 people with the practice of worshiping the Mother Goddess of the Three Palaces of the Vietnamese people, including Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Van Hung (Ngoc Son commune, Hai Duong city); Nguyen Thi Mai (Vu Dung commune, Kim Thanh); Duong Thi Ngát (Minh Hoa commune), Nguyen Thi Quynh (Lac Long commune), Do Thi Voi (Hiep Hoa commune), Le Thi Nghien (Duy Tan ward, Kinh Mon town); Nguyen The Bang (Cam Vu commune), Nguyen Thi Nhan (Cao An commune, Cam Giang district); Tran Thi Voi (Ninh Giang town).
2 people with the art of singing Van and Cheo, including: Tran Duc Chinh in Lac Phuong commune (Tu Ky), Nguyen Van Lien in An Duc commune (Ninh Giang).
From the above records, the Selection Council will hold a meeting, consider and publicly announce the results on the mass media.
