22 effective cooperative models associated with restructuring the agricultural sector

Accordingly, there will be 12 cooperatives of Binh Dinh, Quang Lanh, Vu An (Kien Xuong district), An Chau (Dong Hung district), An Ninh, An My (Quynh Phu district), Thai Thinh, Thuy Dan (Thai Thuy district), Vu Hong (Vu Thu district), Dong Xuyen, Dong Hoang (Tien Hai district), Thong Nhat (Hung Ha district) participating in building the model to achieve basic goals by 2025, perfecting the model by 2030; 10 cooperatives of Vu Hoa, Thanh Ne (Kien Xuong district), Dong Phuong, Trong Quan (Dong Hung district), Quynh Tho (Quynh Phu district), Thuy Van (Thai Thuy district), Vu Hoi (Vu Thu district), Nam Cuong (Tien Hai district), Tan Le, Chi Hoa (Hung Ha district) participating in replicating the model by 2030.

The agricultural production and service cooperative of Binh Dinh commune, Kien Xuong district cooperates with enterprises to consume rice for farmers.

This is one of the positive stimulus moves of Thai Binh for agricultural cooperatives to develop strongly, contributing an important role in implementing the strategy of sustainable agricultural, farmer and rural development; providing services for agricultural production and business; promoting the formation and development of regional agricultural product value chains; organizing good quality management, enhancing the brand value of agricultural products; transferring and applying high technology and digital technology in production and business; gradually forming logistics centers serving agriculture; making an important contribution to the development of green economy, knowledge economy, ecological agriculture, circular economy, multi-value integration and sustainable development; building equal relationships, a healthy cooperative and associational environment; creating more job opportunities, enhancing the position and role of people in agricultural and rural development and new rural construction.

The People's Committee of Thai Binh province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, and the Provincial Cooperative Union to monitor, synthesize, and issue instructions on the contents of building an effective agricultural cooperative model associated with the structure of the agricultural sector and building new rural areas to implement Resolution No. 106/NQ-CP dated July 18, 2023 of the Government.

The People's Committees of the districts have also directed the selected cooperatives in the district to implement the model development according to the provisions of Decision No. 4597/QD-BNN-KTHT dated November 2, 2023 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Plan No. 166/KH-UBND dated December 19, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee and instructions of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
