On the morning of February 18, Quang Nam Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce decisions on retirement, retirement benefits, and early retirement benefits for 22 officers who are leaders of the police at the department and district levels.
These are officers who voluntarily applied for early retirement to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus in the Quang Nam Provincial Police force.
Specifically, these officers include: Colonel Dinh Xuan Nghi, Head of the Internal Political Security Department; Colonel Huynh Quy, Head of the Economic Security Department; Colonel Tran Van Xuan, Head of the Criminal Police Department; Colonel Truong Van Mot, Head of the Criminal Technique Department; Colonel Nguyen Dinh Hung, Head of the Logistics Department; Lieutenant Colonel Vo Van Minh, Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency (IPA); Lieutenant Colonel Pham Viet Tien, Head of the Enforcement and Judicial Support Police Department; Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam, Deputy Head of the Administrative Police Department for Social Order; Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Van Dien, Deputy Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency; Lieutenant Colonel Le Tu Phao, Deputy Head of the Drug Crime Investigation Department.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tan Sy, Deputy Head of the Police Department for Enforcement of Judicial Support; Colonel Pham Trung Phuong, Head of the Internal Security Department; Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong, Head of the Records Department; Dai Nguyen Gioi, Head of Dai Loc District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Tuong Van Tien, Head of Dong Giang District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Tran The Hung, Head of Phu Ninh District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Pham Phu Van, Deputy Head of Dai Loc District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Pham Viet Anh, Deputy Head of Dien Ban Town Police; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Mau, Deputy Head of Dien Ban Town Police; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Trung, Deputy Head of Duy Xuyen District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Ho Van Do, Deputy Head of Phu Ninh District Police and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Phuoc, Head of the Investigation Security Department.
According to the decision, the above officers have between 5 and 40 months of service remaining and are requesting early retirement to facilitate the arrangement and streamlining of the Public Security apparatus.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Colonel Dinh Xuan Nghi, Head of the Internal Political Security Department, Quang Nam Provincial Police, shared: “I, like 21 other officers retiring on this occasion, have worked for 37 to 40 years in the industry. Now, following the policy of the Party and the Ministry of Public Security, we voluntarily write a letter of application for early retirement according to regulations. Clearly demonstrating the personal responsibility, pioneering spirit, and exemplary role of a Party member in implementing the policy of the Party and the People's Public Security force in continuing to organize a lean, compact, strong apparatus, operating effectively, efficiently, and effectively”.
Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police, said: “I was very moved when I was handed the retirement decisions to 12 officers, Heads of Departments, Heads of District Police and 9 officers, Deputy Heads of Departments, Deputy Heads of District Police. These are officers with extensive working experience, the lowest being over 30 years and the highest being over 42 years. The officers are not yet at the highest age limit for service in the People's Public Security but wish to retire early, this is the general situation at the present time, the transitional time of arranging and dissolving District Police and preparing personnel for Party congresses at all levels”.
Major General Nguyen Huu Hop added that the above cadres have experienced many different roles and positions, but with a high sense of responsibility, constantly striving to practice and strive for a steadfast political stance and ideology, steadfast in the face of difficulties and challenges, together with the Party Committee, unit leaders and cadres and soldiers, they have researched, concretized and implemented to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.
Building a united and unified unit, contributing to ensuring political security and social order and safety in the province, building an increasingly strong provincial police force, always fulfilling well the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People.
