(GLO)- On the morning of July 28, the Dak Po District Red Cross Society coordinated with the Gia Lai Provincial Red Cross Society and Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company to organize a groundbreaking ceremony to repair the boarding kitchen of Hoa Po Lang Kindergarten (Ya Hoi Commune).

Accordingly, the project to repair the semi-boarding kitchen of Hoa Po Lang Kindergarten has an area of 45 m2, with a total cost of 200 million VND, sponsored by Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company. In addition, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society also supported supplementing the school's meals with 75 million VND. This is an activity within the program series "Nutrition for poor and disabled children" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
Hoa Po Lang Kindergarten is a regional school in Dak Po district. In the 2022-2023 school year, the school has 193 students. Over 90% of the students are ethnic minorities, 72 of whom are from poor or near-poor households. All of them are arranged to stay in boarding schools, but conditions are still difficult and lacking.
On this occasion, the "Gia Lai Love" Club and Nutifood Vietnam Nutrition Food Joint Stock Company also presented 14 gifts (VND 750,000/gift) to 14 disadvantaged students at Hoa Po Lang Kindergarten.
