20 renewable energy transition projects have generated electricity

The total capacity of the 20 transitional renewable energy plants/plants is 1,171.72 MW.

Compared to last week, there were 2 more projects/parts of projects completing COD procedures including: 38/40 turbines of Lac Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant (capacity 123.6 MW) and the remaining 24 turbines of Hung Hai Gia Lai Wind Power Plant (96 MW).

Also by the end of August 18, 79/85 projects with a total capacity of 4,449.86 MW had submitted documents to the Electricity Trading Company to negotiate electricity prices and power purchase contracts. Of these, 67 projects (total capacity of 3,849.41 MW) proposed a temporary price equal to 50% of the ceiling price of the price range.

EVN and investors have completed price negotiations and signed PPA contracts for 61/67 projects; the Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved provisional prices for 58 projects with a total capacity of 3,181.41 MW.

The cumulative electricity output of transitional renewable energy projects from COD to August 17 reached more than 310 million kWh, of which the average daily electricity output accounted for about 0.4% of the total mobilized power output.

23 projects have been accepted by competent state management agencies for the entire plant/part of the plant; 29 projects have been granted electricity operation licenses for the entire plant/part of the plant; 39 projects have had decisions to extend investment policies.

There are currently 6 projects with a total capacity of 284.70 MW that have not yet submitted negotiation documents.
