On December 5, a clip appeared on social media of two men in Quang Nam province bravely jumping into the river to save a woman struggling in the water.

According to investigation, one of these two people is Mr. Hoang Dinh Tra (45 years old, residing in Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam).

Mr. Tra said that at around 3:00 p.m. yesterday (December 4), he was on his way home from Da Nang City. When he arrived at Ba Ren Bridge (Que Xuan 1 Commune, Que Son District, Quang Nam), he discovered a woman about 60 years old struggling in the middle of the water.

Immediately, Mr. Tra stopped the car and jumped into the river to save the person. When he reached the victim, he swam on his back and slowly helped the victim to shore.

At this time, a young man also jumped into the river to help Mr. Tra. The woman was rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.

"When I saw someone in distress right in front of me, I didn't think much, I just tried to swim as fast as I could to save her. When I swam out to help the victim to shore, I was exhausted. After first aid, I was so happy to see her breathing again," said Mr. Tra.

The brave actions of Mr. Tra and the young man above were filmed by passersby and posted on Facebook, making the online community admire and receive many compliments.
