16 Korean artists bring top-notch concerts to Vietnamese audiences

Recently, in Ho Chi Minh City, a warm, joyful, loving and sublime Christmas atmosphere was vividly recreated through the classical music night “An evening of classical senerity - Love Vietnam” from the harmonious performance of 16 Korean artists, artist Tang Thanh Nam and the Saigon Choir.

This is considered a special event contributing to promoting and developing the good relationship between Vietnam and Korea in the field of culture and arts.

The year 2023 marks many breakthrough political events in Vietnam's development and international integration process. In particular, the event of US President Joe Biden visiting Vietnam, the two countries upgrading their bilateral cooperation to a new height - Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, at the same time, this also begins the next 30-year period of Vietnam - Korea diplomatic relations.

In order to continue promoting the results achieved from promoting the good relationship with Korea, cultural exchange, education, science and technology, technology, FDI investment from Korea and the United States into Vietnam over the past years, the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in collaboration with the Vietnam - Korea Cultural Industry & Economic Association (AVIKO) organized the classical concert "An evening of classical senerity - Love Vietnam".

The program brought an emotional and sublime artistic feast through the harmonious combination of 16 Korean and Vietnamese artists and the direction of General Director Nguyen Phuc Hung. The unique classical music, legendary Christmas songs, warm, joyful and vibrant melodies warmed all the audience present at the event.

The applause that lasted for several minutes after each performance showed the affection that the Vietnamese audience had for the artists and the concert. The success of the concert was the opening event for a new phase of cooperation linking economic investment activities with the culture and arts of Vietnam, Korea and the US.

Of the 16 Korean artists touring Vietnam this time, 12 have performed in other concerts in Vietnam. “All the artists participating in this program love Vietnam not only because of the similarities in cultural values ​​but also because of their affection for the image of the country and its people. In addition, we also want to promote the development of cultural tourism in Vietnam,” said Ms. Lynn Czae, President of the New York Classical Music Association.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy - Chairman of the Vietnam - Korea Association of Cultural Industry and Economy (AVIKO), the event is an opportunity to build effective cooperative relationships between the three countries to a new level, encouraging the development of economic, human resources, cultural and artistic resources, contributing to promoting cultural and artistic activities, developing education and other humanitarian activities.
